How to Hang a Large Painting
A simple field guide from the studio — hardware, sightlines, lighting, and the one thing framers never tell you.

The most common mistake collectors make with a large piece is hanging it too high. Center of the work should sit around 57 inches — museum standard. Everything else follows from there.
