Returns & Shipping

Every piece from the studio is made-to-order or hand-packed. This page explains what to expect from the day you check out through delivery — and how the studio handles the rare damage or claim.

How work is produced

Prints and canvases are produced on demand by our fine-art print partner within 2–5 business days after payment clears. Nothing is warehoused, so each piece is printed on fresh archival stock calibrated to the studio's proof.

Originals are personally packed and insured by the studio — Studio in Morrison, Colorado — typically within 5–7 business days of purchase.

Commissions follow the timeline agreed to on your commission proposal.

Shipping options

Live rates from the print partner are shown at checkout for the destination you enter. Typical tiers:

  • Budget — 7–14 business days after production. Best for large prints where cost matters more than speed.
  • Standard — 3–7 business days after production. Tracked and insured.
  • Express — 1–3 business days after production. Available to most destinations.
  • White-Glove (Originals) — 7–21 business days, personally packed, fully insured, signature required.

Production time is separate from shipping time. Total delivery estimate = production window + carrier window.

Returns

Prints and canvases are custom-made for you and are not returnable for change of mind. If a piece arrives defective, misprinted, or damaged in transit, the studio will reprint or refund it — see the claim window below.

Originals may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unopened and in original packaging. Return shipping and insurance are the collector's responsibility; the studio will refund the artwork price once the piece is received and inspected.

Commissions are non-refundable once the initial concept has been approved, as work begins immediately on your piece.

Damage & lost-in-transit claims

Inspect your package on arrival. If anything is damaged or missing, email studio@marchelletta.art within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the outer packaging and the damaged piece
  • Photo of the shipping label if visible

The studio will file the carrier claim and arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Claims filed after 7 days may not be eligible for carrier insurance.

International orders, customs & duties

The studio ships worldwide via the print partner. Prices at checkout do not include destination-country customs duties, VAT, or import taxes — those are the collector's responsibility and are billed by the carrier on delivery.

If a package is refused or unclaimed and returned to sender, the original shipping and any return-to-sender fees are non-refundable.
